I was wondering if someone could explain why it is o.k. to have CS during the midweek pwo?….Not the actual carbnite.  After I train, I have used cs in a pwo shake about three times.  Does that not go against carbnite principles?  Should I not even have a pwo shake?  Can you explain what cs would do in the abscence of Caribs?  Thanks

If you train then yes have the PWO Shake. You're catabolic when you start training and you need something (an hour later) to spike insulin so that you can become anabolic from that training session and help recover from it. New research has been discovered from when the book was written over five years ago.

Thanks Tex….I really enjoy having my pwo,  I just kept thinking it was counterproductive to CN.

Somewhere out there amongst all in info I have taken in,  I recall Keifer saying no whey protein on carb nite program.  Maybe it was pre aworkoutroutine.  Anyway is it bad to add bcaa to my pwo shake?  Thanks

If you have CS no need for the BCAA
